AE 481 and 482 have provided me with an opportunity to use the knowledge I have gained over the past five years in an application that felt much more realistic than any other projects. The integration of the various disciplines helped to better my understanding of each, as well as appreciate past courses in areas I previously found less than relevant. In addition, the past year has helped me understand how important experience is. I am extremely grateful I was able to use the knowledge I gained at previous internships. Overall, I believe this project has granted me an increased understanding of building design I would not have otherwise gained.

The creation of this online portfolio was also a helpful experience. It allowed me to keep my files organized and present them in a professional manner. The aesthetic design of this website was a welcome break from the technical design experience. Additionally, it provides me with something to show people when they ask about thesis and is a useful tool for future students.
